The Foundation at “Science for Peace”
The Fondiaria Sai Foundation represented by its president Giulia Ligresti will be present at the annual conference “Science for Peace” held by the Veronesi Foundation.
Prof. Umberto Veronesi set up this important event which is in its third year. Two days of peace-talks between international leading personalities in the scientific, economic and cultural field. There will be 37 speakers from 16 countries and 2 Nobel Prize winners.
The Conference will cover 2 days - Friday 18th November and Saturday 19th November 2011. Giulia Ligresti will be present on the “Science and Civil Rights” panel on Saturday 19th November preceded by: Shirin Ebadi Nobel Peace Prize Laureate 2003, Guido Barbujani Professor of Genetics, University of Ferrara, Antonio Papisca Professor Emeritus, University of Padua and Suraya Pakzad Afghan activist.
