Waami Galou is a school complex near Hombori with 320 students from many surrounding villages. In 2009 thanks to the intervention of the Foundation a well was built and the school and its market garden were provided with water. The cultivation of this market garden allowed the students to supply the school canteen and the local market with their own products. Our aim has finally been achieved. In fact the students work alongside the local women in the market garden and are in charge of the water distribution. Today no one has to walk 3 km to reach a water source.
