When commitment becomes a project
From the beginning this Foundation has always had a precise idea on how to handle the distribution of funds. Not only by just giving money but by being an active part of the projects. Not quantity but quality. Not spot interventions but long term interventions in different fields.
The challenges for 2011 involve different countries: Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Haiti, India. Many projects are now in their second phase confirming that the Foundation made the right choices.
This context includes the WOMEN to be projects that are aimed to improve economic, social and cultural progress in the world of women. They are an alternative to micro credit.
The success of this way of “being a Foundation” has been recognized and appreciated by other non-profit organizations. Once again 2011 will be characterized by important partnerships.
